Our Eskort Butcheries

For many years, Eskort was known simply as the bacon factory. While much of its reputation still rests on bacon products and pork sausages, the brand has expanded and evolved into a multifaceted business.

The company has embraced the trend of sustainability and limiting waste, and for decades the entire hog – nose to tail – has been utilised. Recognising the need as well as a market that extends beyond merely bacon and pork sausage products, a small retail space was opened. The Eskort Butchery retail model grew from strength to strength, now operating with 13 retail stores in Gauteng, Nelspruit and Estcourt, Natal.
