Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available on a Call Centre Assistant within our Customer Services Team. Our ideal candidate will be based in our Tekkie Town Support Centre in George.The Call Centre Assistant will form part of the team to ensure that the Tekkie Town Customer Services Team’s standards and all Operations Campaign initiatives are successfully executed across all stores within Tekkie Town. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, passionate about servicing our Customers and will have the high energy level required for this fast-paced, exciting and dynamic retail environment.



Qualifications

A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent is an essential requirement

 



Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Basic Computer Skills & Proficiency preferably previous exposure to Word, Excel & Outlook
Communication skills (English) written and verbal
Xhosa and/or any other African language verbal ability (advantageous)
Excellent voice tone telephonically
Attention to detail and accuracy
Customer service orientation
Calm & Friendly ambience
Stress tolerance
Ability to learn and adapt to changes quickly and efficiently
Has a high energy level and is performance-driven and deadline-orientated
Ability to remain flexible, function under pressure and maintain a positive attitude and work performance in a variety of circumstances

 



Key Responsibilities

Resolve customer & store complaints via phone, email, mail, or social media
Use telephones to reach out to customers & stores to verify or attain necessary information
Basic administrative duties day to day
Assist with placement of orders, refunds, or exchanges
Work with Customer Services Supervisor to ensure proper customer service and store support are being delivered
To file all relevant documentation accurately for easy retrieve electronically and manually
To prepare information and data for reporting purposes as and when required
