KPA / Main Outputs and responsibilities for this position</strong></p>
<p><strong>Customer Focus</strong></p>
<p>Serves as first point of contact with customers;<br />
Selling tickets to customers;<br />
Open and close the ticket office on time;<br />
Adhere to Cash Handling procedure;<br />
Handling of Information and customer queries effectively;<br />
Follow, in a strict adherence, the safety rules and procedures;<br />
Restart, control and monitor equipment and systems according to the operation Procedures;<br />
Perform Station Opening and Closing &; PVU reports;<br />
Inspect all emergency exits daily;<br />
Handle incidents and emergencies;<br />
Report to the OCC Manager and the ASH:CS, incidents or activities likely to affect Passenger flow; To participate in the investigations into station operational incidents;<br />
Execute fare evasion checks; Attend to customer’s queries at the TVM and on the concourse when on Station duties, support duties and roaming duties;<br />
Ensure availability on the concourse, at least 80% of the time to provide accurate information to customers; Collection and delivery of stock, document bags, groceries, etc. from Sandton station; Any other duties as assigned at any station by the ASH: CS and /or Station Head<br />
To ensure the safe operation of the station;<br />
To ensure the application of the appropriate safety standards for service delivery;<br />
Control and monitor station equipment to ensure availability to passengers and reporting of faults.</p>

<p>Grade 12<br />
Any tertiary qualifications would be an added advantage<br />
Basic Computer skills<br />
1 years relevant work experience in customer service<br />
Fluent in English (read, write and speak)</p>
