Roles & Responsibilities
Ø Participate in Learning, demonstrate skills and be able to transfer those skills in the workplace.
Ø Enter into a relevant contract of learning
Ø Be able to communicate, give instructions and follow up on instructions given.
Ø Demonstrate progress towards achievement of the training outcomes.
Ø Comply with the relevant assessment requirements
Ø Follow a structured program, which contains on and off the job training.
Ø Be actively involved in personal development and drive own development.
Minimum requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Ø Must be 18-35 years of age
Ø Must be unemployed
Ø Grade 12 certificate
Ø Proof of attending a valid secondary school in Merafong area
Ø Proficient in English speaking
Ø Ability to pass an underground Certificate of Fitness
Ø Positive Security Screening (No fraud, theft or violence)
Ø Must be South African Citizen with valid proof of identity.
NB: All applications must have a clear certified copy of ID

Roles & Responsibilities
· To execute and finalize approved project according to strict deadlines and within budget.
· Coordinate the efforts of team members and contractors/consultants in order to deliver project according to plan and oversee quality control throughout the life cycle of the project.
· To ensure that the project under his/her supervision comply with legal requirements as described in the Mine Health and Safety Act and the Minerals Act and to meet the demanding standards of Corporate Governance.
· Ensures that Environmental policies, programmes and practices are integrated into the project.
· Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
· Identify resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
· Manages the day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope.
· Review outcomes and takes appropriate action.
· Understand and support company’s Vision and Values.
Minimum requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years well rounded experience in gold mining and managed Cat 1 & 2 level projects.
- Relevant degree in Project Management and/or Mining Engineering degree/diploma;
- Code 08 driver’s license;
- English proficiency;
· Relevant computer literacy.
ADVANTAGEOUS:
- Advanced Programme in Project Management (University of Pretoria) – preferable;
- Harmony Leadership Development Programme;
- MDP.

Roles & Responsibilities
· Input into all engineering aspect of business case, prefeasibility, feasibility, implementation and close out of projects.
· Design or facilitate all engineering designs required in the project/s.
· Assist with scoping and specifications for issuing of tenders and procurement of all physical equipment as well as services required for the installation of such equipment.
· Capital and operating cost estimation, management and control of allocated budgets.
· Carry 2.13.1 legal appointment for project construction sites.
· Ensures compliance with all statutory legislation pertaining to the Engineering discipline within their area of responsibility.
· Enforces engineering technical standards and codes of practice.
· Quality management during construction and of equipment delivered.
· Promote team effectiveness, team relations and competence of engineering staff.
· Complies with management of change processes to respond to project risks & opportunities
· Reporting and regular feedback on progress and status of projects.
Minimum requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering (as required by GCC).
- Government Certificate of Competency Mines and Works with at least 5 years’ post GCC experience in the mining environment.
- English proficiency.
- Computer literate (Including MS Office, Ms Projects).
- Valid Certificate of Fitness or the ability to obtain one.
- Valid Driver’s License.

Advantageous:
- A recognised Project Management qualification with at least 5 years project Management experience.
- Previous substantial appointment as an Engineer or subordinate Engineer.
- Design experience.
- Plant and tailings retreatment experience
