<div><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></div>
<ul>
<li>Combine and rearrange data from source documents and transcribe given information into electronic formats.</li>
<li>Check all completed work for accuracy and change any field that requires editing.</li>
<li>Delete incorrectly posted or obsolete data and re-enter the correct information.</li>
<li>Prepare source documents by compiling and sorting information according to specific instructions provided.</li>
<li>Punch information into predesignated databases or systems and double-check the information to make sure it has been accurately punched in.</li>
<li>Verify the accuracy of data from designated sources before entering it into the system.</li>
<li>Locate and correct any visible data errors by confirming its integrity with supervisors.</li>
<li>Adherence to HR, finance, administration and procurement policies and procedures.</li>

<div><strong>Data Entry</strong>:</div>
<ul>
<li>Enter information from documents to be stored and transmitted.</li>
<li>Consistently check work for accuracy and completeness</li>
<li>Complete forms and edits current information</li>
<li>Reads the information and keys the data into the necessary fields.</li>
<li>Compare the entered information with the source to identify errors and correct.</li>

<li>Ensure effective flow of information and documents to and from the office of the manager and manage the leave register and telephone accounts for the unit.</li>

<ul>
<li>Knowledge of specific computer software and programs for data entry tasks.</li>
<li>Keys information directly into the computer and can also be required to scan documents and fill in any missing information.</li>
<li>Enters data onto storage devices for later entry</li>
<li>Responsible for loading compliance machines with the required materials including paper, disks, tape, cards, etc.</li>

<div>A senior Certificate/ Grade 12 or Equivalent qualification and 1 year relevant experience in Data Capturing is essential.</div>

<div><strong>Functional experience:</strong></div>
<ul>
<li>1-2 years experinece in the abililty to demonstrate knowledge of data capturing services, Directely and independentely is essential.</li>
</ul>

<div><strong>Functional / Technical Competencies (Knowledge and Skills)</strong></div>
<ul>
<li>Demonstrative computer literacy.</li>
<li>Basic financial administration.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Lexicographic matters.</li>
<li>Language skills including spelling rules.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Setswana and English.</li>
<li>Relevant legislation.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate well with people at different levels.</li>
<li>Basic numeracy.</li>
<li>Interpersonal skills.</li>
