<p>Our client in the East of Johannesburg, is currently on the look out for a Receptionist. This position will also entail the printing of customers labels for each order that is received throughout the day. (training will be provided) and as this can be overwhelming at times, the ability to work under pressure, multitask &; attention to detail is essential in this position.</p>

<p><strong>Remuneration:</strong><br />
<strong>Salary range is from about R12 000 – R15 000 per month</strong></p>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong><br />
Previous reception experience – not negotiable.<br />
Bubbly, professional and outgoing personality.<br />
Excellent telephone etiquette.<br />
Own reliable transport.<br />
Residing within the area would be beneficial (Alberton, Germiston, Primrose, etc.)<br />
Good knowledge &; understanding of MS Excel – not negotiable.<br />
Zero tolerance policy with regards to alcohol &; drugs in place at the company; random urine drug tests are done; also have a calibrated breathalyser &; alcohol levels are checked at random.<br />
The candidate would be seated in the reception area, based downstairs in a warehouse.<br />
Safety boots are to be worn when the candidate steps onto the factory floor for safety reasons (Candidate needs to be comfortable with this – safety boots will be provided by the company.)</p>

<p><strong>Duties and responsibilities:</strong><br />
Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.<br />
Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.<br />
Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.<br />
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures).<br />
Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.<br />
Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries.<br />
Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).<br />
Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock.<br />
Update calendars and schedule meetings.</p>
