<p><strong>RECRUITMENT OF 2300 UNEMPLOYED YOUTH FOR THE GAUTENG EDUCATION BUS CONDUCTORS PROGRAMME</strong></p>
<p>The main responsibility of the bus conductors is to ensure the safety and security of learners during transit from home to school and vice-versa.<br />
Conductors will need to report for duty at the bus route starting point by 05:30am every weekday and will travel on the bus with learners to the school where they will be based for the duration of the school day until 3pm</p>

<p><strong>STIPEND: R3500 per month </strong><br />
<strong>DURATION: 12 months, work hours are between 5:30am to 3pm.</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>SELECTION CRITERIA</strong><br />
• Be between the ages of 18-34, and over 35s *Schools with those opportunities will advertise this at the schools and applicants should enquire about the application process at those specific schools<br />
• Must have Matric or equivalent<br />
• Must be a permanent resident of Gauteng<br />
• Live within walking distance of the bus pick-up/depot<br />
• Not currently employed or studying<br />
• No criminal record<br />
• Must NOT be a beneficiary of any government funding e.g. NSFAS, GCRA bursary<br />
• Current beneficiaries of the Gauteng<br />
• Youth Brigade /current cohort of exam markers/current Bus<br />
• Conductors can still apply but are not guaranteed preference</p>

If you&#8217;ve never used SA Youth or Tshepo 1 Million you&#8217;ll need to register first before applying<br />
2. On your homepage to will see opportunities that are recommended for you<br />
3. You can also search for the opportunity<br />
In the search bar, type in &#8220;bus conductor&#8221; or search for the bus pick point or depot closest to you.</p>
<p> ;</p>
<p>NOTE: Schools with opportunities for over 35s will advertise these at the schools<br />
and applicants should enquire about the application process at those specific schools</p>
