<p>Want to feed the tiniest of taste buds to preparing pre-cooked meals for the parents? As a cook, you will prepare healthy and tasty lunches for our children and meals for the freezer following a menu and recipes developed by our in-house nutritionist.</p>

<p>Full Job Description</p>
<p>Our goal is to serve nutritious, wholesome meals and cooked onsite. We are looking for a full-time cook/food prep who loves to cook healthy, delicious meals that will appeal to the palate of the children in our care as well as precooked meals for adults.</p>
<p> ;</p>
<p>This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday from 8h00 to 13h00. No nights or weekends required.</p>
<p>Salary</p>
<p>R30.00 – R35.00 an hour (R3500 per month)</p>
<p>Plus commission</p>
<p> ;</p>
<p>Job responsibilities:</p>
<p>· Plans and prepares meals in accordance with menus and recipes</p>
<p>· Determines meal count and distributes food to each class</p>
<ul>
<li>Cleans after each meal is complete.</li>
</ul>
<p>· Performs weekly food and supply inventory; submits list of needed items</p>
<p>· Checks-in supply deliveries to ensure accuracy of order placed.</p>
<p>· Keeps kitchen, including appliances, cabinets, dishes and all inventory, organized and clean.</p>

<p>An ideal candidate will have:</p>
<p>· Have a love for children &; cooking</p>
<p>· Minimum 5 years’ experience in cooking for a school/pre-school or similar</p>
<p>· Strong customer service mindset and work ethic</p>
<p>· Have experience in preparing and packing precooked meals</p>
<p>· Non-smoker, punctual and of good health</p>
<p>· Excellent command of the English language</p>
<p>· Chef/Cook certificate or qualification</p>
<p>· Pays close attention to detail and can follow recipes according to portions and budget</p>
<p>· Can work unsupervised most times</p>
