<p><strong>Icebolethu Group</strong> is currently in search of <strong>General Assistant (4x)</strong> on a <strong>Casual</strong> Basis to be located in <strong>Ixopo</strong> within the <strong>Burials Department</strong> a Division of <strong>Icebolethu Group.</strong> The successful candidate will be required to perform tasks supporting Burials operations and ensuring the delivery of Excellence Service to our Clients.</p>

<li>Min 1-2 years’ experience in Burials / Funeral Services and Planning.</li>

<li>Must be willing to work odd hours and/or overnight shifts.</li>

<li>Assists in removals.</li>
<li>Registering deceased details on the mortuary register.</li>
<li>Ensure that are labeled correctly.</li>
<li>Wash and Stores bodies in the mortuary tray as per the register and board number.</li>
<li>Ensures that all bodies are properly stored in their assigned locations.</li>
<li>Assist in identifying bodies.</li>
<li>Cleans and prepares bodies for autopsy.</li>
<li>Cleaning of the mortuary and viewing area.</li>
</ul>

<li>Sterilizes autopsy equipment and sets out all necessary instruments for the pathologist.</li>
<li>Washes and sterilizes all instruments after autopsy.</li>
<li>Washing and dressing of bodies for collection.</li>
<li>Coffining of bodies.</li>
<li>Releases body to family or other authorized.</li>
<li>Speaks to family and friends to provide them with updates on the autopsy (if necessary).</li>
<li>Monitoring mortuary and signs in visitors.</li>
<li>Assist with Funeral grave and hall decoration set up.</li>
<li>Installation of lowering device machine.</li>
<li>Responsible for the equipment and material.</li>
</ul>
