<li>be a postgraduate student in 2024;</li>
<li>be enrolled as a UFS student in 2024 and be able to provide proof of registration in 2024;</li>
<li>have at least one year tutoring, facilitating or teaching experience as part of a certified programme (tutoring students in your personal capacity in your free time is unfortunately not seen as certified tutorial experience), and</li>
<li>be proficient in English</li>
</ul>

<p>Your duties and responsibilities are as follows:</p>
<ul>
<li>Attend trainings</li>
<li>Assist with facilitation of classes</li>
<li>Mark assessments and provide detailed feedback</li>
<li>Review module content</li>
<li>Attend meetings</li>
</ul>

<p>If your application is successful, you will need to avail 25 hours per week (5 hours per day) during UFS working hours for this position. You will thus have to find a balance between your studies and work duties/responsibilities as required within this position. This is not a remote working position, and successful candidates are required to report to campus for work engagements.</p>

<p><em>Please note that foreign national students may not </em><em>work </em><em>more than 20 hours per week</em><em>,</em> <em>in accordance with national labour law. The Teaching </em>Assistant <em>position on the Bloemfontein </em><em>c</em><em>ampus </em>is a <em>fixed 25 hour per week contract.</em></p>
