<p>With distribution centres (DCs) located in 5 provinces,we ensure that products are delivered to stores just in time for the consumer to enjoy their shopping experience at their local SPAR store.</p>

<h1>JOB PURPOSE</h1>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>To serve customers by signing up customer purchases accurately and courteously.</li>
</ul>

<h1>KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</h1>

<li>Operating Front End Equipment including POS terminals, Debit card terminal, speed points etc</li>
<li>Scanning items purchased by customers</li>
<li>Replenish consumables</li>
<li>

<ul>
<li>Cash up takings</li>
</ul>
<p> ;</p>
<ul>
<li>Ensure that daily takings balance on a daily basis</li>
</ul>
<p> ;</p>
<ul>
<li>Maintaining adequate change at all times</li>
</ul>
<p> ;</p>
<ul>
<li>Depositing cash into the small box during the day</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Treat all products handled at the front end with care</li>
</ul>
<p> ;</p>
<ul>
<li>Developing friendly but professionals relationships with customers</li>
</ul>
<h1>SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED</h1>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<p>&#8211; Matric plus previous cashier experience as a part-time cashier or trainee</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of arithmetic calculations</li>
</ul>
<p> ;</p>
<ul>
<li>Reading and comprehension skills</li>
</ul>
<p> ;</p>
<ul>
<li>Ability to communicate clearly and effectively</li>
</ul>
<p> ;</p>
<ul>
<li>Time management</li>
</ul>
