<h1>Main purpose of the job</h1>
<p> ;</p>
<p><span>Incumbents will be responsible for capturing all clinical related information and statistics. The incumbents will also be responsible for supporting the Monitoring &; Evaluation (M&;E team) in day-to-day data capturing activities.</span></p>
<p> ;</p>
<h1>Key performance areas :</h1>
<p> ;</p>
<ul>
<li>Ensure the timely submission of data by institutions and capture into corporate health management</li>
<li>Verify the integrity of data provided by institutions by comparing it with previously submitted records</li>
<li>Capturing of data in accordance with GCP principles. Back-Capturing Patient files into TIER.net.</li>
<li>Validate the quality of captured data by performing system verifications. Ensure that information is safe by performing regular backups of work captured in accordance with policy specifications.</li>
<li>Capture data daily, weekly,or monthly on DHIS,Tier.Net and any other health information system that may be introduced the health facilities.</li>
<li>General administrative work including filing and printing standard reports as and when requested by Programme managers.</li>
<li>Provide technical and information advice and guidance to users to maximize the use of available computer equipment and information.</li>
<li>Provide support to the M&;E team.</li>
<li>Manage data in compliance with POPIA.</li>
</ul>

<h3><strong>Required minimum education and training </strong>:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Grade 12/Matric</li>
<li>Computer systems training</li>
</ul>
<p> ;</p>
<h1>Minimum work experience:</h1>
<ul>
<li>3 years Data Capturing experience.</li>
</ul>
<p> ;</p>
<p>Desirable additional education,work experience and personal abilities</p>
<ul>
<li>Computer skills (MS Office package) and excellent keyboarding (both speed and accuracy) is essential</li>
<li>Matric Previous experience in health care/research setting and database packages preferable.</li>
<li>Knowledge of the ART program with Tier.net training.</li>
<li>Good communication skills in English (written and verbal). o Exceptional attention to detail</li>
