<p>The ARC-Agricultural Research Council (ARC-SG) seeks to appoint a highly skilled, experienced and<br />
dynamic persons to the following positions at Bethlehem:</p>
<p>CASUAL WORKERS<br />
BETHLEHEM X190, TYGERHOEK X10, CEDARA X2, POTCHEFSTROOM X1,<br />
VAALHARTS X32, GLEN BLOEMFONTEIN X2, MPUMALANGA X2, LIMPOPO<br />
X2 (TURFLOOP, AND LOSKOP), EASTERN CAPE X2, STELLENBOSCH X2.</p>

<p>Key Performance Areas:<br />
• Performs routine activities under supervision.<br />
• Adheres to instructions from the supervisor.<br />
• Utilises tools and materials, under supervision.<br />
• Assists in research support, under supervision.<br />
• Provides verbal feedback on work activities to supervisors.<br />
• Adheres to quality standards.<br />
• Assists with basic activities related to research services under supervision.<br />
• Identifies and participates in own learning opportunities.<br />
• Ad hoc tasks as instructed by the Supervisor.<br />
• Utilises work equipment/tools and materials under supervision.<br />
• Complies with SHE/OHS regulations and procedures.</p>
<p>Requirements:<br />
• Grade 10 or 1-year relevant experience.<br />
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).<br />
• A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.</p>
<p>NB: Preferences will be given to applicants who reside at Bethlehem, Tygerhoek, Cedara,<br />
Potchefstroom, Vaalharts, Glen Research Station, Bloemfontein, ARC-TSC Mpumalanga, Limpopo<br />
(Turfloop &; Loskop), Eastern Cape, Stellenbosch.<br />

<p>Competitive remuneration package will be congruent with the scope, responsibilities, and the stature of the position. The appointment will be subject to a positive security clearance and preference will be given to designated groups in terms of the ARC Employment Equity Plan. Permanent appointments are subject to six (6) months’ probation period.
