<p><strong>Requirements:</strong><br />
<strong>• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.</strong><br />
<strong>• 6-11 months experience plus security certificate</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Grade C and must be registered with PSIRa, have valid PSIRa certificate.</strong><br />
<strong>• Computer literacy and CCTV experience in control room will be an advantage.</strong><br />
<strong>• Knowledge of the Access to public premises and vehicles Act No. 53 of 1985, PSIRa Act 56 of 2001 and </strong></p>
<p><strong>Minimum Information Security Standards (MISS).</strong><br />
<strong>• Must be prepared to work shifts and under pressure.</strong><br />
<strong>• Preference will be given to EPWP trainees and administrative interns who served and still serving the Department according to Personnel Circular Letter 4 of 2017.</strong><br />
<strong>• Candidates will be subjected to a medical surveillance.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Duties:</strong><br />
<strong>• Safeguarding state assets, vehicles, employees, patients, contractors, visitors. Monitor and control the movement of patients and visitors.</strong><br />
<strong>• Render escort services to staff members, visitors, and patients when the need arises.</strong><br />
<strong>• Report all incidents/breaches in the Occurrences Book. Do searching (i.e., people and vehicles.</strong><br />
<strong>• Enforcement of departmental policies, assisting nursing staff in handling aggressive patients if required, managing of hospital security aids and monitoring of CCTV surveillance cameras.</strong><br />
<strong>• Quickly respond to emergencies in the hospital</strong></p>
