<p><strong><em>Qualifications and experience required:</em></strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Relevant tertiary qualification.</strong></li>
<li><strong>A valid Code EB driver’s licence.</strong></li>
<li><strong>One to two years’ relevant experience.</strong></li>

<p><strong><em>Key attributes and competencies:</em></strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>The incumbent must have excellent knowledge of budget and procurement procedures and policies gained in a municipal environment.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Must have good problem-solving and supervisory skills.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Must have report-writing skills.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Must have proficient (oral and written) communication skills in English.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Must pay good attention to detail.</strong></li>
</ul>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong><em>Job purpose:</em></strong></p>
<p><strong>Performing administrative and general office support functions associated with the organisation of preparatory requirements related to tenders, submission of information to support the evaluation and adjudication of tenders and, attending to the updating and maintenance of records and registers, completion and submission of procedural documentation for processing, and provision of secretarial/reception services.</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening, medical examination, security vetting and psychometric assessment.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Fringe benefits will include membership of a Retirement Fund, Medical Aid Scheme, Group Life Assurance Scheme, participation in a Housing Subsidy and Car Schemes (subject to the conditions of the various Schemes), and normal leave and sick leave benefits.</strong></p>
