The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of a clinical trial conducted at AHRI-Durban by overseeing study logistics, ensuring protocol adherence, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards&period; The clinical trial will focus on evaluating the efficacy and safety of a shortened treatment regimen for tuberculosis in paediatric patients&period; The incumbent will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the clinical trial by ensuring that all aspects of a trial—from recruitment to data collection to analysis—are handled in an efficient and effective manner&period;&NewLine;The successful candidate will be able to juggle multiple tasks at once, manage competing demands on their time, and prioritize effectively when necessary&period; BSc degree or equivalent required, preferably in Life Sciences&NewLine;2&period; Computer Literacy&NewLine;3&period; Valid driver’s license&period; Must be a confident driver&NewLine;4&period; Fluency in English&NewLine;&nbsp&semi;&NewLine;Minimum Experience&NewLine;1&period; A minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical research&NewLine;2&period; A minimum of 2-3years’ experience coordinating a project and supervising junior staff members&period;&NewLine;Worker Type&colon;
