<p><strong>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>Must be 18 years or older</strong></p>
<p><strong>Valid certificate in Peace Officer and Traffic warden with course duration of 30+ days</strong></p>
<p><strong>Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)</strong></p>
<p><strong>No criminal record</strong></p>
<p><strong>Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape</strong></p>

<p><strong>KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>Perform all Traffic Law Enforcement duties as instructed.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Ensure no parking offences are committed and regular rotation of parking.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Conduct a vehicle and/or foot patrol within the central business district and at beach parking areas.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Prevent incidents through proper enforcement of by-laws and National Road Traffic act.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Respond and report emergency situations and record in pocket book.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Provide all required reports and work under the instruction of a senior.</strong></p>

<p><strong>SPECIAL CONDITIONS ATTACHED TO THE POST:</strong></p>

<p><strong>Must be physically fit and able bodied to stand and walk around for extended periods of time.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Must be willing to work weekends, public holidays and shifts as assigned.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Must be able to work in as team player and use own discretion when required.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Must have own transport to and from work.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Must be neat and tidy according to uniform standards.</strong></p>
