<p><strong>Are you an energetic and passionate electrician looking for an exciting opportunity? Media24, a proud member of the Naspers Group, is on the hunt for a dynamic individual to join our vibrant team! We touch millions of lives every day through our cutting-edge online, book publishing, online services, and booming e-commerce platforms. We&#8217;re inviting applications for the role of Electrician, based at our Media24 Centre in Cape Town, reporting directly to our Property Manager.</strong></p>

You’ll bring your expertise and passion to maintain and repair state-of-the-art electrical equipment, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable installations.</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>What you&#8217;ll do:<br />
</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>General upkeep of the buildings electrical installations, systems and equipment.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Inspections, recordings and corrections on electrics.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Adhering to safety performance standards, protocols and lock out procedures.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Ensure tools inspections and compliance with safety standards and regulations.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Safe and clean workshop and working areas on floors.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Maintenance of 3 phase controls and supply.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Fault finding in electrical reticulation and electrical equipment.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Maintenance of kitchen and other equipment as and when required.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Day to day maintenance work in and around the group offices and buildings.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Fixing or changing of fixtures and fittings of the building as required.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Recording and reporting monthly on all work completed.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Tracking of and budgeting for stock, tools and equipment required. that</strong></li>
<li><strong>Notifying the Property Manager when an external contractor will need to be contacted.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Working with contractors providing SLA services.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Assisting with Ad hoc requests from Property Manager</strong></li>

<li><strong>Qualifications &; Experience:</strong><br />
<strong>• Grade 12 or N3 equivalent.</strong><br />
<strong>• Red Seal Certification and Three Phase Electrical Tester.</strong><br />
<strong>• Solid 5+ years in the electrical field.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Knowledge of electrics and general building maintenance</strong></li>
<li><strong>Health and Safety knowledge</strong></li>
<li><strong>Must have a driver&#8217;s license</strong></li>
<li><strong>Wiremen’s license a must-have</strong></li>
