<p><strong>Purpose of the position:</strong></p>
<p><strong>The Data Capturer supports the M&;E specialist in capturing and consolidating facility and partner data. The District Data Capturer is responsible for consolidating weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p>
<p><strong>Grade 12 / matric</strong></p>
<p><strong>Tertiary qualification would be advantageous</strong></p>
<p><strong>Trained on TIER.Net software and/or previous experience with TIER.Net data capturing and reporting</strong></p>
<p><strong>Strong knowledge of HIV/AIDS</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>Minimum of two years’ experience in working with DoH data/M&;E systems (from patient-record level to DHIS level);</strong></p>
<p><strong>Experience in data collection and capturing</strong></p>
<p><strong>Experience with data capturing or collection within the public health sector will be advantageous.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Familiarity with the public health sector and District Health System will be advantageous</strong></p>
<p><strong>MS Office</strong></p>
<p><strong>Able to communicate in English and isiXhosa is an advantage</strong></p>
<p><strong>Criminal Clear</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p><strong>Ensures that all weekly, monthly and quarterly data is received, captured and consolidated</strong></p>
<p><strong>Update databases with weekly, monthly and quarterly data</strong></p>
<p><strong>Format and structure data according to requirements</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>Keep and maintain a register of who is responsible for data submission at each facility</strong></p>
<p><strong>Notify the M&;E specialist and other relevant staff if data is not submitted on time and keep record of all data submissions</strong></p>
<p><strong>Interact with colleagues and project management to ensure fulfillment of project objectives</strong></p>
<p><strong>Interact with Department of Health and THC staff to capture relevant subject-related information</strong></p>
<p><strong>Filing and administrative duties as required</strong></p>
