<p><strong>Mission of the role:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Continuously provide training &; support within the Parts &; Service Department supporting Epiroc customers (internal and external and regional as well as other Africa Countries) by providing Technical &; Operator training services for Underground Mining Application offerings. Supporting the latest Epiroc technology, which is being launched into the South African Region in the Underground Mining Application including Autonomous applications.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Main Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Ensure quality Technical and Operator training is provided to our customers &#8211; Internal, External and Regional for URE product line customers</strong></p>
<p><strong>Design and Development quality training material to be ready for new technology</strong></p>
<p><strong>Adapt and adjust Swedish training &#8216;products&#8217; to fit the South African region &; market.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Ensure that training is marketed to the customers within the South African Region as a value added service.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Train all qualified Epiroc employees, South Africa &; Region, to achieve the Technical Service Level 1 qualification, Basic Electrical &; Hydraulic</strong></p>
<p><strong>Ensure quality Operator training is provided to our customers &#8211; internally and externally to fit the market conditions</strong></p>
<p><strong>Carry out coaching and assessments as required</strong></p>
<p><strong>Liaise with product company technical department and forward relevant information to all service departments where applicable</strong></p>

<p><strong>Ensure that all URE training records, filing and reporting is kept up to date</strong></p>
<p><strong>Assist with PDI and Troubleshooting on equipment when required &#8211; internally and externally and regionally</strong></p>
<p><strong>Assist other PSD departments in the company as and when required</strong></p>
<p><strong>Manage costs within the cost centre and company assets</strong></p>
<p><strong>Nature of the position requires that the incumbent will be travelling to various sites and be away from home for extended periods</strong></p>
<p><strong>Carry out any other function or duty as may be required in terms of &#8220;The Epiroc Way&#8221;.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Skills, Competence and Experience:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Proven past Technical &; Operator background experience, and minimum of 3 years Training experience on Technical and Operator training</strong></p>
<p><strong>Be able to read, understand and cope with basic 24V electrical systems</strong></p>
<p><strong>Be able to read, understand and cope with various hydraulic systems</strong></p>
<p><strong>Be able to read, understand and cope with Rig Control system</strong></p>
<p><strong>Good computer literacy skills</strong></p>
<p><strong>Educational Qualification:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Grade 12</strong></p>
<p><strong>Must have a Trade certificate</strong></p>
<p><strong>ETDP-related qualification</strong></p>
<p><strong>Assessor qualification</strong></p>
<p><strong>Behaviours:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Ability to transfer knowledge and skills is essential.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Quality Management knowledge</strong></p>
<p><strong>Excellent planning, organizing, reporting skills</strong></p>
<p><strong>Good Epiroc Underground Rig product knowledge</strong></p>
<p><strong>Good interpersonal skills to work with all customers and work as part of the product team </strong></p>
<p><strong>Be presentable to customers in grooming and dress code</strong></p>
<p><strong>Valid driver&#8217;s license</strong></p>
<p><strong>Valid passport</strong></p>
