<p><strong>PURPOSE OF THE JOB </strong></p>
<p><strong>As a Data Analyst, you will harness retail, customer, and marketing data to generate actionable insights, optimise marketing campaigns, and guide strategic decision-making. You will play a crucial role in driving data-driven initiatives within our large-scale retail environment.</strong></p>

<p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES </strong></p>
<p><strong>Data Insights &; Analysis: </strong></p>
<p><strong>Develop reports and interactive dashboards, conduct descriptive analysis on retail and customer behaviour, and evaluate the performance of various projects and interventions.</strong></p>
<p><strong>System &; Project Delivery:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Lead the delivery of system improvements and support predictive and prescriptive modelling projects.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Strategic Recommendations:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Use your analytical skills to identify opportunities, make recommendations for future initiatives, and enable better business outcomes.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p>
<p><strong>ROLE REQUIREMENTS </strong></p>
<p><strong>Business degree with Analytical/Commercial subjects (e.g.Computer Sc., Maths, Eng.)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Minimum 5 years analyst experience, preferably in a marketing agency/digital agency with a focus on delivering customer insights in order to change customer behaviour.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Retail experience will be an advantage </strong><strong> </strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>Technical Skills:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Big Query SQL, Python, or R </strong></p>
<p><strong>Above average computer literacy (MS Office, Excel (Advanced), Google Workspace)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Data visualisation tools (e.g., Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Knowledge of statistics &; data modelling</strong></p>
<p><strong>Knowledge of Data cleaning and enrichment</strong></p>
<p><strong>Knowledge and understanding of POPIA</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>Soft Skills:</strong></p>
