or NQF level 4 equivalent<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Have an applicable trade certificate as an Electrician &lpar;Red seal&rpar;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Valid CODE B Drivers licence<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>MV switching certificate &lpar;Advantageous&rpar;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Wermans license as single or 3 phase installation electrician &lpar;Advantageous&rpar;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>5 years&plus; experience as an Electrician<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Knowledge in fault finding&comma; PLC instrumentation&comma; high voltage&comma; switching&comma; earthmoving equipment&comma; aggregate crushing&comma; screening processes&comma; understanding of VSD’s and soft starters<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Be able to read and understand electrical drawings<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Be prepared to work after hours and be on standby as and when required<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>The ability to work as part of a team but also without supervision<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Computer literate<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Must have the ability to work under pressure and be deadline driven<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Must reside in the Western Cape<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Duties and responsibilities &lpar;not limited to&rpar;&colon;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Ensuring compliance with all the requirements of the Mine Health and Safety Act&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Executing daily electrical maintenance &lpar;PM maintenance scheduling and ensures all electrical equipment operates to required OEE’s&rpar;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Identifying causes of electrical dysfunction and repairing<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Ensuring safe work practices and compliance with all SHE Legislation<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Ensuring a safe and legally complaint working environment &lpar;SHE and MHSA Legislation&rpar; and work practices<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Compliance with all electrical work to SANS0142<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Report on unsafe working procedures<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Assisting with the training of handymen and learners<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Ability to utilize proper fault-finding techniques to complete work successfully<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Maintain all electrical drawings<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Attending to electrical breakdowns and maintenance<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Carry out weekly&comma;
