<p><strong>DRIVER CODE 10 &#8211; Permanent</strong></p>
<p><strong>Voltex (Pty) Ltd is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the role of Driver Code 10for their Pretoria branch. This incumbent will be reporting to the Branch Manager.</strong></p>
<p><strong>The purpose of this role is responsible for the efficient delivery and collection of stock to customers.</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>The key tasks &; responsibilities for this position are to:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Complete vehicle inspection sheet and ensure that the vehicle is roadworthy before embarking on a journey</strong></p>
<p><strong>Report any defects / accidents of the vehicle to the branch manager immediately</strong></p>
<p><strong>Navigate each destination on schedule to determine the most expedient trip</strong></p>
<p><strong>Load stock according to the log sheet together with the dispatch clerk and ensure that stock correspond to the delivery note</strong></p>
<p><strong>Submit all relevant delivery administration and reports of each delivery for an accurate record of what has been completed</strong></p>
<p><strong>Obtain clients’ and customers’ signatures as an acknowledgment of having received the delivered goods</strong></p>
<p><strong>Effectively communicate with clients and customers to resolve complaints</strong></p>
<p><strong>Ensure that the delivery vehicle is always clean</strong></p>
<p><strong>Keep record and advise the operations manager when the vehicle is due for service</strong></p>
<p><strong>Report all delivery related problems to Branch Manager</strong></p>
<p><strong>Maintain compliance with all safety and security regulations</strong></p>
<p><strong>The key qualifications and experience for this position would be:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Matric / Equivalent is a MUST</strong></p>
<p><strong>A valid Code 10 drivers’ licence is a MUST</strong></p>
<p><strong>A valid PDP licence is a MUST</strong></p>
<p><strong>Minimum 3 years driving experience</strong></p>
<p><strong>Familiar with GPS technology devises</strong></p>
<p><strong>Knowledge of warehouse processes</strong></p>
<p><strong>Knowledge of relative safety standards protective clothing</strong></p>
