<p><strong>As from today please check your Teacher Assistant or General Assistant Application Status to see which schools has selected you for an interview.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Congratulations to all the young people who successfully applied for Phase V of the Basic Education Employment Initiative (BEEI)! SA Youth wishes you the very best as you await the next steps.</strong></p>
<p><strong>ð¢ Next Step: If you&#8217;re shortlisted, you will receive communication from the school or Provincial Education Department (PED) inviting you to an interview, via SMS.</strong></p>
<p><strong>The SMS will be from the schools between 19 and 26 May 2025.</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>While you wait, make sure your documents are ready. If you’re invited for an interview, take the following with you:</strong><br />
<strong>â Certified copy of your ID or passport</strong><br />
<strong>â Your updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)</strong><br />
<strong>â A testimonial (from a former school, local chief, church leader, or previous employer)</strong><br />
<strong>â Certified copy of your matric certificate and highest qualification (if you have one)</strong><br />
<strong>ð Note: Matric is not a requirement for GSA roles</strong><br />
<strong>â Police clearance certificate</strong></p>
<p><strong>&#8211; Note that interviews will start from the 19th till 31 May</strong></p>
<p><strong>&#8211; Schools that have selected you will send SMS or Calls </strong></p>
<p><strong>&#8211; Make sure your phone is next to you.</strong></p>
<p><strong>&#8211; Make sure your CV &; ID is ready (they will also need clearance when you are hired) </strong></p>
