<p><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></p>
<p><strong>We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Matric / Grade 12 Certification. </strong><br />
<strong>Formal cooking qualification.</strong><br />
<strong>Assistant Cook experience.</strong><br />
<strong>Energetic, positive approach to their work.</strong><br />
<strong>A clear criminal record.</strong></p>
<p><strong>The responsibilities are:</strong><br />
<strong>Preparation of food and Sales</strong></p>
<p><strong>Assist in the preparation of food and related products prepared for Learners.</strong><br />
<strong>Cutting, Cleaning and pre-preparation of food.</strong><br />
<strong>Assist in the preparation of cooked / warm foods if required.</strong><br />
<strong>Assist the Cook by giving input on food quality.</strong><br />
<strong>Assist in any reasonable way possible when required for special events.</strong><br />
<strong>Assist Cook / Chef in the preparation of foods if and when required.</strong><br />
<strong>Stand in for Cook if Cook off ill or not available.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Cleaning, Health and Safety and Related matters</strong></p>
<p><strong>Always ensure workspaces are kept clean.</strong><br />
<strong>Where appropriate attire related to dealing with food or food products.</strong><br />
<strong>Actively assist in the cleaning of equipment, the kitchen, and any related facilities.</strong><br />
<strong>Support the Cook with any ad-hoc Health and Safety and Hygienic requirements and always adhere to such requirements.</strong><br />
<strong>Personal commitment to education and a willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the school.</strong></p>

<p><strong>The successful candidate will start on 01 September 2025.</strong></p>
