<p><strong>Key Responsibilities&#8230;<br />
Stock Control:<br />
</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Ensure the stock on the shelves has not reached sell by dates.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Ensure full range of products are on the shelves at all times.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Participate in department stock takes, when requested.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Keep the storeroom organised, neat and tidy.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Report low stock levels, items that are out of stock, damaged stock and expired stock to management.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Facilitate the rotation of stock on a regular basis and adhere to Dis-Chem stock control procedures.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Identify and report damaged and expired immediately to one of the store management team members.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Ensure boxes are flattened after unpacking stock and taken to designated area.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Restock merchandise when needed to ensure maximum sales.</strong></li>
</ul>
<p><strong> Merchandising:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, merchandising and displays must be maintained in both the window area and throughout the store.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Present displays in an attractive manner.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Demonstrate products through, makeovers, cosmetic demonstrations, spray promotions or activities.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Correctly price and label all relevant goods.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Work towards achieving sales targets for different vendors and brands within the Cosmetics Department.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Adhere to stock layout principles.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Merchandising displays in the cosmetics area must be faces up and stocked up.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Assist with the loading and off-loading of stock, when needed.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Report all price discrepancies to management.</strong></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Customer Service:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>To provide friendly, helpful and courteous assistance and advice to all customers.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Process payments at a Cosmetics Department Point of Sales (POS).</strong></li>
<li><strong>Give advice to customers but do not force customers to change their preferable brand.</strong></li>
<li><strong>All customer stock queries must be dealt with and resolved.</strong></li>
