<p><strong>Join the Dis-Chem Pharmacies Cosmetics Retail Learnership, launching in branches across South Africa. This exciting programme is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively promote and sell Dis-Chem’s Cosmetics &; Beauty products — all through excellent, consistent customer service.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Minimum Requirements&#8230;</strong></p>
<p><strong>Essential</strong></p>
<p><strong>Matric /Grade 12 </strong></p>
<p><strong>Willing and able to work retail hours</strong></p>
<p><strong>Computer literate in Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>Advantage:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Previous working experience within the beauty environment</strong></p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities&#8230;</strong></p>
<p><strong>Stock Control:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Ensure the stock on the shelves has not reached sell by dates.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Ensure full range of products are on the shelves at all times.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Participate in department stock takes, when requested.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Keep the storeroom organised, neat and tidy.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Report low stock levels, items that are out of stock, damaged stock and expired stock to management.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Facilitate the rotation of stock on a regular basis and adhere to Dis-Chem stock control procedures.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Identify and report damaged and expired immediately to one of the store management team members.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Ensure boxes are flattened after unpacking stock and taken to designated area.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Restock merchandise when needed to ensure maximum sales.</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong> Merchandising:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, merchandising and displays must be maintained in both the window area and throughout the store.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Present displays in an attractive manner.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Demonstrate products through, makeovers, cosmetic demonstrations, spray promotions or activities.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Correctly price and label all relevant goods.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Work towards achieving sales targets for different vendors and brands within the Cosmetics Department.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Adhere to stock layout principles.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Merchandising displays in the cosmetics area must be faces up and stocked up.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Assist with the loading and off-loading of stock, when needed.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Report all price discrepancies to management.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Customer Service:</strong></p>
<p><strong>To provide friendly, helpful and courteous assistance and advice to all customers.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Process payments at a Cosmetics Department Point of Sales (POS).</strong></p>
<p><strong>Give advice to customers but do not force customers to change their preferable brand.</strong></p>
<p><strong>All customer stock queries must be dealt with and resolved.</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
