<strong>Position Purpose</strong></p>
<p><strong>The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Trainee Programme aims to provide students and recent graduates with practical workplace experience, allowing them to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world environment. This programme is designed to enhance participants&#8217; employability by offering hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to industry-specific tasks. The WIL trainee programme is conducted over a period of 18 months.</strong></p>

<p><strong>THE POSITIONS ARE FOR CAPE TOWN AND SALDANHA TERMINALS</strong><br />
<strong>Position Outputs</strong></p>
<p><strong>Task Execution </strong></p>
<p><strong>• Assist in specific projects within a department or work-stream. </strong></p>
<p><strong>• Perform routine operational tasks under supervision. </strong></p>
<p><strong>• Support administrative functions, including documentation and reporting.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Learning &; Development </strong></p>
<p><strong>• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs. </strong></p>
<p><strong>• Shadow experienced professionals to gain practical insights. </strong></p>
<p><strong>• Engage in problem-solving activities to develop analytical skills.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Communication &; Collaboration </strong></p>
<p><strong>• Interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to understand business needs. </strong></p>
<p><strong>• Provide regular updates on assigned tasks and project progress. </strong></p>
<p><strong>• Serve as a central contact point for queries and assistance.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Compliance &; Safety </strong></p>
<p><strong>• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. </strong></p>
<p><strong>• Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards. </strong></p>
<p><strong>• Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all tasks.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Research &; Analysis </strong></p>
<p><strong>• Conduct market research, data collection, and analysis to support business decisions. </strong></p>
<p><strong>• Prepare reports and presentations using MS Office tools. </strong></p>
<p><strong>• Assist in process improvement initiatives.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong><br />
<strong>• Matric certificate/equivalent and N6-Public Relations and Communications </strong></p>
<p><strong>• Must be a South African citizen. </strong></p>
<p><strong>• Age between 18- 35. </strong></p>
<p><strong>• Preference will be given to People with Disabilities. </strong></p>
<p><strong>• No bursary obligation with another company. </strong></p>
<p><strong>• Proof of certified Matric certificate, Academic record, ID copy and TVET college experiential learning letter</strong><br />
