<p><strong>Position Purpose</strong><br />
<strong>The purpose of the Training Programme is to develop a pipeline for key roles within Transnet Port Terminals (TPT) through a structured 12-month training programme. The programme seeks to place learners in specific areas within TPT according to their academic background, career aspirations and business requirements.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Position Outputs</strong><br />
<strong>Perform daily task as specified per equipment.</strong><br />
<strong>Handle commodities in line with daily operational requirements</strong><br />
<strong>Complete logbook as well record equipment defects.</strong><br />
<strong>Handling of data terminals where applicable</strong><br />
<strong>Maintain work related radio communication.</strong><br />
<strong>Monitor equipment performance during operation to establish defects.</strong><br />
<strong>Report incidents / accidents.</strong><br />
<strong>Report daily operational occurrences.</strong><br />
<strong>Operation of safety equipment when required (fire extinguisher).</strong><br />
<strong>Adhere to terminal safety policies and procedures.</strong><br />
<strong>Sign on to the terminal operating system (Navis).</strong><br />
<strong>Follow on screen directives using Navis. </strong></p>
<p><strong>Acknowledge task complete at end of instruments</strong></p>

<h4><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></h4>
<p><strong>• Grade 12/ Matric </strong></p>
<p><strong>• (Advantageous: TVET N6 in Logistics/Transport) </strong></p>
<p><strong>Youth Age between 18 and 35 years.</strong></p>
