To ensure that staff and equipment are transported safely to different destinations and vehicles are kept in a safe and roadworthy condition.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)
3years relevant driving experience
Valid code EB drivers license with ability to pass Rand waters K53 test
Must be in possession of Public Drivers Permit
Primary Duties
Financial – handle Petty cash safely.
Customer – Respond to customer requests.
Business process -To transport staff and equipment’s -To keep vehicles clean and roadworthy.
Plan tasks to ensure that all transport is available.
Complete all schedules of transport in the Mechanical section
Planned maintenance – Do all inspections of motor vehicles. -Investigate and report all faults on vehicles.
Knowledge
Knowledge of OHS Act.
Knowledge of road traffic rules.
