WeThinkCode applications are now open!
So there’s a school that has campuses in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban called WeThinkCode. Almost all of their graduates are employed by some of the biggest tech companies in SA.
Applications are open for 2026.
They have been offering free course but most youngsters don’t wanna study.
ABOUT THE BURSARY:
Tuition fees and a stipend of R2000/ month (for food and transport) are covered by corporate sponsors. Students will be required to complete 2 paid internships, of 4 months each, with their sponsor company during the course of their studies.
WeThinkCode offers a two year, tuition free, NQF level 5 qualification in systems development, with a guaranteed path to employment.
WeThinkCode is a cutting-edge coding academy which offers tuition-free education to individuals interested in developing software. Students will receive project-based learning, peer-to-peer learning, an NQF level 5 SETA qualification, and a clear pathway to employment.
The programme is available in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban.
Requirements:
Applicants should be between 17 and 35 years old.
Should have a valid ID, passport with work permit or asylums
