<p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified and or experienced persons for the above – mentioned positions.</p>
<p> ;</p>
<p>Requirements:</p>
<p>The applicant must have a recognized tertiary qualification in either of the following: B Com Accounting or a National Diploma in Financial Accounting or Management Accounting</p>
<p>â Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Verbal and Written)</p>
<p>â The successful applicant must be computer literate in MS Office, and must possess analytical and numerical skills</p>
<p>â Knowledge of local government legislation would be an added advantage.</p>
<p> ;</p>
<p>Duties:</p>
<p>Assist with preparation of multi-year annual budgets</p>
<p>â Assist in monitoring budgetary expenditure and income against monthly actuals</p>
<p>â Prepare monthly returns to National and Provincial Treasury, Statistics SA and other external government agencies /departments</p>
<p>â Prepare monthly budgetary reports to Council and Portfolio Committees</p>
<p>â Assist in the preparation of Annual Financial Statements</p>
<p>â Assist in the maintenance and record keeping of assets</p>
<p>â Assist in ensuring compliance with the Municipal Finance Management Act, No. 56 of 2003, and other relevant legislation</p>
<p>â Various other duties as required within the Finance Department</p>

<p>Salary: The annual remuneration package of the intern is R100 000.00 total cost to company.</p>
<p> ;</p>
