Willingness to work extra hours odd days and on<br />

Planning, organizing and problem solving skills.<br />
Good interpersonal relations. Be prepared to work<br />
under pressure.</p>

<p><strong>Key Performance Area:</strong> To provide Boiler<br />
Operations support to ensure delivery of steam<br />
on a 24 hour basis. Assist with recording of boiler<br />
readings, trimming of coal and ash removal from<br />
gritt arrester, cleaning of boiler, boiler house and the<br />
surrounding environment. Regular maintenance of<br />
ash trolleys. Apply chemicals and salt to the brine<br />
tank as prescribed. Cleaning the brine tank and<br />
water filter. Maintain and adhere to safe working<br />
environment in accordance to the OHS Act. Proper<br />
usage of protective clothing, identify and report<br />
safety hazards, dust and clean the boilers, boiler<br />
house, coal bunker area, chemical tanks.</p>
