<p><strong>Health Advocate Accredited Learnership Programme</strong></p>
<p>The Wits Health Hubb (WHH) aims to provide meaningful professional work experience, training and qualification in the healthcare space for formerly unemployed youth, to activate health consiousness and personal well being amongst youth and to expand community access to healthcare.</p>

<p>At the end of 12 months, trainess will obtain an NQF, Level 3, Health Promotion Officer (HPO) qualification (SAQA ID No: 94597)</p>
<p>In partnership with our triaining partner, Kunokhanya Training Academy, we are looking for 25 hardworking and passionate young people to be trained as Health Promotion Officers who will contirbute to the health of their community.</p>

<p><strong>Funding will be available to successful candidates.</strong></p>

<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>
<p>Must have Matric</p>
<p>Youth 18-30 years old</p>
<p>Not in Employment, Education or Training</p>
<p>Reside in Soweto</p>
<p>Be willing to commit to the programme for the full duration of 12 months</p>
<p>No tertiary qualification needed (applicants will undergo a verification check)</p>

<p><strong>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>
<p>Computer literacy (This may be assessed during the recruitment process)</p>
<p>Learners must be adequately mobile to execute the work within a community</p>
<p>Learners must have adequate visual and hearing capacity to master the skills evisaged.</p>
<p>Previous experience in Health, Counselling or Community work is an advantage but not a necessity.</p>
