<p><strong>Salary: R 276,863.00 &#8211; R 328,755.00 (per annum inclusive of benefits)</strong></p>

<p>Minimum Qualifications:</p>
<p><strong>Grade 10</strong></p>
<p><strong>Minimum Experience:</strong></p>
<p>1 year experience in a Civil related environment</p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>Key Outputs:</strong></p>
<p>Reporting to the Artisans/Supervisor Building Works, the employee will:</p>
<p>Perform general work at water treatment plants/ dams/ pump stations/ pipelines/and all Amatola</p>
<p>Water facilities when required</p>
<p>Carry out general work e.g. sweeping floors, windows and machinery of a water treatment</p>
<p>works pump stations and facilities</p>
<p>See to the upkeep of grounds and surroundings, cut grass and clean flowerbeds<br />
Repair and replace geysers<br />
Pick up and transport materials for use on site from storage and clean storage area<br />
Clean workshop, sumps, reservoirs and overflow weirs<br />
Carry out additional work; e.g. painting, scrubbing etc.<br />
Provide support with reservoir maintenance requirements<br />
Clean sedimentation tanks, sterilising filters and desludging sedimentation tanks<br />
Removal of build ups on stormwater drainages and gutters<br />
Dig trenches and repair pipelines when necessary</p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>Other requirements needed:</strong></p>
<p>Basic knowledge of OHS Act and NOSA and safety aspects<br />
Basic technical understanding of water works operation<br />
Perform standby duties</p>
