HR Training: Unemployed individuals who are between the ages of 18 – 35 are invited to participate in a Human Resources training within Komatsu’s HR Department.

Interns will receive training and mentorship where they will be equipped with skills and knowledge needed in human resources roles.

 

Programme Purpose:

As part of government’s initiative to address youth unemployment, Komatsu aims to provide unemployed graduates who are in possession of a Human Resources or Industrial Psychology qualification with practical training within its HR Department.

  • Grade 12/matric certificate
  • Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 – 35 years
  • Be a South African citizen

 

Komatsu YES Programmme- HR Training (Duties and Responsibilities)

  • The selected candidate must be able to Recruit individuals for open positions within the organization and complete the necessary steps to screen them for hiring.
  • Must ensure a safe workplace, oversee and conduct safety training
  • Manage workplace injury logs and reporting and handle any worker’s compensation needs that may arise
  • Manage Employee relations
  • Verify employee hours and process their paychecks according to the company’s pay schedule
  • Approve compensation and benefit  packages for employees
  • Ensuring that the organization complies with all applicable labor regulations and laws.
  • Develop successful training and development programmes
