<h5><strong>Main purpose of the job</strong></h5>
<p><strong>Incumbents will be responsible for capturing all clinical related information and statistics. The incumbents will also be responsible for supporting the Monitoring &; Evaluation (M&;E team) in day-to day data capturing activities.</strong></p>

<h5><strong>Key performance areas</strong></h5>
<ul>
<li><strong>Ensure the timely submission of data by institutions and capture into corporate health management systems.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Verify the integrity of data provided by institutions by comparing it with previously submitted records.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Capturing of data in accordance with GCP principles.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Back-Capturing Patient files into TIER.net.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Validate the quality of captured data by performing system verifications.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Ensure that information is safe by performing regular backups of work captured in accordance with policy specifications.</strong></li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li><strong>Capture data daily, weekly, or monthly on DHIS, Tier.Net and any other health information system that may be introduced the health facilities.</strong></li>
<li><strong>General administrative work including filing and printing standard reports as and when requested by Programme managers.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Provide technical and information advice and guidance to users to maximize the use of available computer equipment and information.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Provide support to the M&;E team.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Manage data in compliance with POPIA.</strong></li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Required minimum education and training</strong></p>
<p><strong>Grade 12/Matric</strong><br />
<strong>Computer systems training</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>Minimum work experience</strong></p>
<p><strong>6 months Data Capturing experience.</strong><br />
<strong>Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities</strong><br />
<strong>Computer skills (MS Office package) and excellent keyboarding(both speed and accuracy) is essential. Matric.</strong><br />
<strong>Previous experience in health care/research setting and database packages preferable.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Knowledge of the ART program with Tier.net training.</strong><br />
<strong>Good communication skills in English (written and verbal). </strong></p>
<p><strong>Exceptional attention to detail.</strong><br />
<strong>Ability to work with minimal supervision.</strong><br />
<strong>Willingness to travel.</strong></p>

MatCH implements donor funded projects to improve HIV and TB outcomes through providing technical assistance and direct service delivery support.
