<p><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></p>
<p><strong>We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Code 10 license.</strong></p>
<p><strong>PDP essential</strong><strong>.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Experience in school bus driving will be a strong recommendation.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Minimum three years’ experience in a similar position.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Presentable with good communication skills.</strong></p>
<p><strong>A clear criminal record.</strong></p>

<p><strong>The responsibilities are:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Learner transportation</strong></p>
<p><strong>Drives a school transportation vehicle within a prescribe route(s) in accordance with time schedules.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Picking up and discharging students at designated stops</strong></p>
<p><strong>Transports students and teacher on field trips to various locations; planning necessary route(s) and stops as needed.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Maintains order a proper discipline of student passengers according to district policy</strong></p>

<p><strong>General Worker Duties</strong></p>
<p><strong>General Maintenance and facility support</strong></p>
<p><strong>Receive requests for maintenance of facilities.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Check facilities daily to check that everything is working and maintained.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Complete any facilities or maintenance required such as plumbing.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Make facilities manager aware of any repairs required.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Complete all general maintenance across the facility.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Check maintenance consumables and advise facilities manager of requirements.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Store and maintain tools for maintenance.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Provide general support on security and access control across the facilities.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Provides general support on traffic management.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Garden Maintenance</strong></p>
<p><strong>Review daily work roster for required duties.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Maintenance grass and flower beds</strong></p>
<p><strong>Cleaning and maintaining the garden across the facility.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Advise the facilities manager of requirements in the garden.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Check gardening consumables and advise facilities manager of requirements.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Store and maintain tools for gardening</strong></p>

<p><strong>Health and Safety</strong></p>
<p><strong>Conduct safety and operational inspection of assigned vehicle daily.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Reports needed mechanical repairs when necessary.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Services buses with gas, diesel fuel, and oil; checks and when necessary, fills tires and batteries.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Performs periodical safety drills as required by law, completing necessary reports upon request.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Maintains cleanliness of vehicle to ensure safe operating condition.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Attends various meetings regarding safety, first aid and training updates as required</strong></p>

<p><strong>Record keeping</strong></p>
<p><strong>Completes periodic mileage and other reports including passenger counts</strong></p>
