<p><strong>We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage key accounting functions and provide critical financial insights.</strong><br />
<strong>This role requires a strong foundation in accounting principles, with at least 5 years of experience handling trial balances. A degree in accounting is preferred but negotiable for candidates with extensive knowledge and expertise.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong><br />
<strong>5 or more years of accounting experience to trial balance.</strong><br />
<strong>A degree in accounting or a related field (preferred but negotiable based on experience).</strong><br />
<strong>Strong working knowledge of Sage, QuickBooks, and Pastel Payroll.</strong><br />
<strong>Excellent understanding of accounting principles and processes.</strong><br />
<strong>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.</strong><br />
<strong>High attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.</strong><br />
<strong>Strong communication and organizational abilities.</strong><br />
<strong>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities: </strong><br />
<strong>Prepare and manage trial balances, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.</strong><br />
<strong>Oversee and process payroll using Pastel Payroll.</strong><br />
<strong>Work with accounting systems such as Sage and QuickBooks to maintain financial records.</strong><br />
<strong>Reconcile accounts and prepare detailed financial reports.</strong><br />
<strong>Ensure VAT, PAYE, and other statutory returns are completed accurately and submitted on time.</strong><br />
<strong>Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members as needed.</strong><br />
<strong>Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.</strong><br />
<strong>Maintain organized and accurate financial records.</strong></p>
