Voter Registration&comma; Party Registration and Electoral Processes in the run up to municipal elections and will report to the Assistant Manager&colon; Electoral Matters&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Duties&colon;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>The responsibilities of the Clerical Administrator are as follows&colon;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>a&rpar; Electoral support in areas of administration for delimitation&comma; party registration&comma; voter registration and candidate nomination&semi;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>b&rpar; Quality assurance on address attributes&semi;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>c&rpar; Address parsing and cleaning&semi;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>d&rpar; Geocoding and geotagging&semi; and<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>e&rpar; Quality assurance on geocoding<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Basic requirements&colon; Matric&sol;N3 and an appropriate three-year post-matric qualification &lpar;diploma or degree certificate&rpar; or equivalent&period; Prior experience in data processing is recommended&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>The candidate must possess the following competencies and attributes&colon; Above average computer literacy in Microsoft excel or Access&period; Excellent office administration and coordination skills&semi; good organising skills and good interpersonal skills&period; Ability to work against tight deadlines and to work under pressure<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Knowledge and experience of the Electoral Commission and election related matters&comma; address capturing&comma; address cleaning and geocoding will be advantageous&period;<&sol;strong><strong> <&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Technical Skills Requirements&colon;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>The following technical skills and experience are required&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Required skill<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Minimum Experience<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Microsoft Excel or Access<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>&gt&semi; 24 months &lbrack;more than 2 years good exposure&rsqb;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Geocoding<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Advantageous<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Any windows based GIS software&comma; Town Planning or related field&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Advantageous<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Shortlisted candidates may be required to undergo a Practical Test prior to interview&sol;day of interview&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Applicants for the above position must be a South African citizen&comma;
