<p><strong>Job description</strong></p>
<p><strong>The purpose of the Cashier is to serve customers by ringing up customers purchases accurately and courteously.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Point of sale terminal</strong></p>
<p><strong>Debit Card terminal</strong></p>
<p><strong>Speedpoint</strong></p>
<p><strong>Veri-cheque</strong></p>
<p><strong>Smartbox</strong></p>
<p><strong>Zip Zap</strong></p>
<p><strong>Processing various forms of tender including:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Cash</strong></p>
<p><strong>Cheques</strong></p>
<p><strong>Gift vouchers</strong></p>
<p><strong>Bank cards</strong></p>
<p><strong>Pensioner’s cards</strong></p>
<p><strong>Stock</strong></p>
<p><strong>Hygiene, Safety and Housekeeping </strong></p>
<p><strong>Signage and Pricing </strong></p>
<p><strong>Customer service</strong></p>
<p><strong>Minimum requirements</strong></p>
<p><strong>Matric / NQF level 4 equivalent</strong></p>
<p><strong>Previous cashier experience as a part time cashier or trainee</strong></p>
