<p><strong>Medirite Plus Daspoort seeks 6 customer-focused, hard-working pharmacy sales assistants to ensure the smooth operation of in-store retail operations.</strong></p>

<p><strong> Responsibilities of the pharmacy sales assistant include greeting customers, monitoring customer activity to prevent shoplifting, arranging visual displays, processing customer refunds, etc. You should also be able to identify customers&#8217; needs and suggest products that will best meet those needs.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Handling payments and balancing sales and receipts according to company procedure.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Be aware of new products and keep your product knowledge up to date.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Restocking items and organizing the sales floor according to standard operating procedures.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Regularly conducting price audits to identify and rectify price discrepancies.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Processing customer payments using the stores&#8217; Point of Sale (POS) system.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Maintaining product knowledge to offer advice and recommendations.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Stay up to date on all promotions and special offers.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Maintain visual merchandising standards.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Conduct proper housekeeping.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Handle all customer queries timeously and escalated to higher management when necessary.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<p><strong>Essential:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Grade 12 qualification</strong></p>
<p><strong>Experience</strong></p>
<p><strong>Essential:</strong></p>
<p><strong>At least 5 months of point of sale / till point experience within a retail environment.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Proven retail sales experience.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Knowledge and Skills</strong></p>
<p><strong>Computer literate.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Bilingual, preferably fluent in Afrikaans and English.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Engaging and friendly personality.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Knowledgeable of payment procedures (e.g. cash, cheque, bank card, credit cards, coupons, vouchers).</strong></p>
<p><strong>Knowledgeable of stock-receiving procedures and merchandising standards.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Solid understanding of customer service principles.</strong></p>
<p><strong>The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Strong organizational skills.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Effective communication skills.</strong></p>
