<p><strong>BTT is currently recruiting for two (2) Traffic Marshalls to join the Richards Bay Gas Operations Team.</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:</strong></p>
<p><strong>To provide clear and concise directions, maintaining the organized movement of vehicles, reducing congestion and promoting efficient traffic flow in and around site.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p>
<p><strong>Grade 12 or equivalent</strong></p>
<p><strong>Code 10 drivers’ licence with PDP is advantageous</strong></p>
<p><strong>1 years’ experience as a Flagman/Corporate driver</strong></p>
<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p><strong>JOB SPECIFICATION:</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Drive the BTT vehicles carefully and safely ensuring that the BTT brand is always well portrayed.</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Communicate with drivers about lane changes, temporary traffic patterns, and adjustments.</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Regulate traffic speed in work zones, ensuring drivers adhere to posted limits.</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Inspect the pathway for any infrastructure damage and reporting it.</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Complete the Vehicle Log Sheet daily and record times and kilometres travelled.</strong><br />
<strong>• Ensure the safekeeping of all documents and keys at the end of each shift.</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Manage washing/cleaning of the BTT vehicles as required and ensure that the vehicles are well maintained.</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Report any accident, incident and near miss on the BTT vehicles.</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Ensure that the vehicles are driven with care and are not mishandled or abused.</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Ensure weekly inspections are conducted on all BTT vehicles and provide a report thereof.</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Transport employees safely to and from site areas and/or to other destinations as instructed.</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Collect and distribute consumables and other items to the sites as required.</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Assist with directing traffic flow during emergencies.</strong></p>

<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Good organizational, planning and time management skills</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Good driving record with no traffic violations</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Sound knowledge of traffic regulations</strong></p>
<p><strong>• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)</strong></p>
<p><strong>• High attention to detail</strong></p>
