<p><strong>Job Purpose</strong><br />
<strong>The Cabin Crew member is responsible to ensure the on-board safety of the Airline’s customers and to provide a 5-star customer experience on-board in line with SAA’s Customer Service Standards. The role will ensure that the on-board service delivered to customers complies with the touch-point standards, service procedures and duties defined for the aircraft type operated and ensure the uncompromised excellent customer experience throughout the pairing.</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>The role will effectively perform this function by following through on instructions by the SCCM on all aircrafts. Further, the Cabin Crew member will effectively resolve all conflict and disputes for customers on all flights. The role will assist in promoting the Corporate Brand, protecting the company’s goodwill and ensuring the Company’s image is upheld.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Lastly, the Cabin Crew member will adhere to standard operating procedures and are accountable to the Purser on all aircraft. The role will report all non-compliances to company standards to the Purser and or Commander.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Principal Accountabilities</strong><br />
<strong>Demonstrates an understanding of the Inflight Services strategy and plan relevant to own work outputs</strong><br />

<strong>Provides recommendations to support the implementation of the Inflight Operations strategy and plan</strong><br />
<strong>Contributes to the budget management and containment of costs on-board</strong><br />
<strong>Provides recommendations on profitability</strong><br />
<strong>Ensures correct application of processes and systems in area of responsibility</strong><br />
<strong>Utilises resources in area of responsibility/ own area of work in a time and cost-effective manner</strong><br />
<strong>Utilises technology to enhance internal and external customer requirements</strong><br />
<strong>Executes work outputs according to customer requirements</strong><br />
<strong>Adheres to Governance and Risk Management policies, processes and systems</strong><br />
<strong>Delivers on regular, irregular and timeous reporting of information to key stakeholders</strong><br />
<strong>Participates in continuous optimisation programmes, projects and initiatives</strong><br />
<strong>Responsible for the safety of customers and all crew onboard</strong><br />
<strong>Manage emergency situations on-board</strong><br />
<strong>Manage Inflight medical emergencies</strong><br />
<strong>Renders a high-quality service to customers and crew</strong><br />
<strong>Maintains sound interaction between customers, flight deck crew, Purser and cabin crew</strong><br />
<strong>Assists in maintaining crew well-being</strong><br />
<strong>Compliance with the relevant company policies, procedures, standards and relevant legislation (BCEA, LRA, industrial agreement, CAA regulations, etc.) and all other regulatory requirements of countries SAA operates in</strong><br />
<strong>Report all non-compliance to Company Standards to the Purser and/or Commander</strong></p>

<p><strong>Qualifications &; Experience</strong><br />
<strong>Grade 12</strong><br />
<strong>SACAA Licenced Crew Member</strong><br />
<strong>Must be Boeing 737/738 qualified or previously qualified (evidence thereof to be attached with this application)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Other requirements:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Fluency in English is essential</strong><br />
<strong>Must be able to swim</strong><br />
<strong>A weight proportional to height, minimum of 1,58m</strong><br />
<strong>A maximum body mass index of 35 to be maintained throughout the term of the appointment </strong><br />
<strong>Must be able to fit in an aisle of the aircraft</strong><br />
<strong>Additional foreign languages will be an advantage</strong><br />
<strong>Reliable transport</strong><br />
<strong>Able to work on her/his own without supervision</strong><br />
<strong>Well groomed with no visible tattoos</strong></p>

<strong>Applicants must be qualified on the Boeing 737/738 aircraft</strong></p>

<strong>Applicants should be able to undergo an extremely intensive training programme, a series of assessments and interviews, must pass all training programmes as well as attend training as and when required to do so</strong><br />
