The responsibility of the Clerk: Cashier is to ensure the accurate receiving and recipting of cash from the Drivers on a daily basis and ensuring banking is completed with the relevant security company as per allocated times in the day.
Requirements
Matric.
Basic understanding of Accounting Priniciples.
Previous Work experience in a similur role would be beneficial.
Must be able to work in a high pressure enviroment and possess good people skills.

Duties and Responsibilities
Accurately count and receive money from drivers.
Capture receipts for drivers, handle queries effieciently.
Record totals of all transactions.
Ensure accurate capturing of EFT’s.
Responsible for Sundry banking.
Reconcile payments received with driver documentation.
Prepare cash and documentation for banking daily.
Responsible for the recon of daily takings to balance against banking.
Maintain records for audit purposes.
