<p><strong>First National Bank (FNB) hascommitted to providing youth with theopportunity to gain work experienceover 12 months, as well as a chance to undertake a select learnership.</strong></p>
<p><strong>The opportunity is created to enable young people with limited formal work experience a chance to become more employable in the future.</strong></p>

<h2 class="hmb-0 text-lg"><strong>Requirements</strong></h2>

<p><strong>Applicants must:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Be between the ages of 18 and 34.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Be A South African citizen.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Have a minimum of a matric certificate (further studies &#8211; certificates and diplomas are accepted equal to NQF 5 and 6).</strong></li>
<li><strong>Have been unemployed for at least the last 6 months.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Not studying at present.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Have little or no work experience – i.e., a total of less than twelve months’ work experience and/or of a part-time, casual nature. This must be the youth’s FIRST job experience..</strong></li>
<li><strong>Not have previously participated in the FirstJob programme at any of the FirstRand franchises, and not worked for FirstRand before.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Have a Good command of the English language.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Not have a criminal record.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Do not be Blacklisted.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Be willing to do a learnership and gain work experience at the same time.</strong></li>
</ul>
