Job Locations

Successful candidates will be appointed at the following SANRAL offices:

  • Limpopo – Polokwane: 1 Post
  • North West – Rustenburg: 2 Posts
  • Northern Cape – Kimberley: 1 Post
  • Mpumalanga – Mbombela: 2 Posts
  • Free State – Bloemfontein: 1 Post

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Grade 10 qualification or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining high cleaning standards while ensuring health and safety compliance. Duties include:

Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance

  • Follow Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements.
  • Wear and use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
  • Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely.
  • Report hazards and workplace incidents.

Cleaning Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness according to approved cleaning standards.
  • Follow daily cleaning schedules and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained.

Equipment Management

  • Properly use and care for cleaning equipment.
  • Report damaged or faulty equipment.
  • Prevent equipment misuse or unnecessary loss.

Stock Control

  • Monitor cleaning supply levels.
  • Report shortages before supplies run out.
  • Reduce unnecessary wastage of cleaning materials.

Reporting Responsibilities

  • Follow the correct reporting structures.
  • Report maintenance problems and safety concerns.
  • Complete daily cleaning records and checklists.

Customer Service

  • Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with employees, visitors, and tenants.
  • Respond politely to cleaning requests.
  • Respect confidentiality while working in occupied offices.

Performance Expectations

Performance will be measured based on:

  • Cleaning quality.

Operational Requirements
