About the General Worker (GSE) Position
The General Worker (Ground Support Equipment) position supports the workshop team by assisting with housekeeping, equipment maintenance, inspections, and workshop operations.
Employees help ensure all ground support equipment and vehicles remain clean, safe, and ready for daily airport operations.
This is a permanent hourly-paid position based in Durban.
Main Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the workshop
• Ensuring safety procedures are always followed
• Assisting mechanics with servicing and repairing airport ground support equipment
• Performing daily inspections on workshop equipment and vehicles
• Supporting preventative maintenance activities

Minimum Requirements
Applicants should have:
• Grade 9, Grade 10, Grade 11 or Grade 12

• Physical fitness to lift and move equipment
