About the General Worker Positions
The General Worker will carry out duties assigned by supervisors and management to support the daily operation of the factory and distribution areas.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Clean workspaces, equipment, conveyors, floors, walls, windows, toilets and changing rooms.

- Assist with loading trucks and moving trolleys to the loading bay.
- Clean the loading bay and work-in-progress areas before leaving.
- Remove waste packaging and foreign objects and maintain good housekeeping.
- Wear the correct, clean personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Follow company hygiene, safety and cleaning procedures.
- Report incidents, injuries, breakages, unsafe conditions and product losses to the supervisor.
Workers must also follow the company’s “clean as you go” practices and help protect products from contamination or loss.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
- Ability to understand, speak and write English.
- Basic mathematics skills.
- Good health and attention to detail.
- A responsible, honest and punctual approach to work.
- Understanding of hygiene and workplace safety.
The advert also requires one year of experience in a production environment and one year of experience in an FMCG stores environment. Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is listed as an additional requirement.
Only candidates based in the Cape Flats will be considered.
A mandatory alcohol and drug test will be conducted before interviews commence.
