<p><strong>The South African Weather Service (SAWS) is therefore seeking to appoint an efficient and enthusiastic</strong><br />
<strong>person to undertake the role of:</strong><br />
<strong>HR Administrator</strong><br />

<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong><br />
<strong>• To provide efficient HCM related administration services to the HCM team and their stakeholders,</strong><br />
<strong>assist with ensuring the department’s compliance with the relevant legislation, SAWS policies and</strong><br />
<strong>procedures, as well as the requisite Total Quality Management processes.</strong><br />
<strong>• Act as the first point of call when there are HCM queries from external stakeholders</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>Key Performance Areas:</strong><br />
<strong>• Submission of a complete set of onboarding and termination documentation to the payroll department within the prescribed timeframes.</strong><br />
<strong>• Manage the employee termination process, including sending the requisite notice to ICT and paperwork to the payroll</strong><br />
<strong>• Responsible for the posting of adverts on the online-recruitment system and handling related queries</strong><br />
<strong>• Preparation of interview packs and forwarding the interview schedule to reception</strong><br />
<strong>• Administration of the employee verification process, including the processing of the related invoices</strong><br />
<strong>• Drafting of employment contracts following the receipt of the appointment letters for the HRBPs.</strong><br />
<strong>• Maintain an accurate, updated, and secured employee record filing system</strong><br />
<strong>• Proper recordkeeping of and filing of signed HCM meetings minutes</strong><br />
<strong>• Liaising with the HRBP to ensure the mapping of the HCM process in accordance with the approved TQM standard and that these are posted on SharePoint</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>Required Minimum Education/Training:</strong><br />
<strong>• National Diploma in Human Resources Management or related filed</strong><br />
<strong>• A degree will be an added advantage</strong><br />
<strong>• Knowledge of the Labour Relations, Basic Conditions of Employment, Skills Development,</strong><br />
<strong>Employment Equity, BBBEE, POPI Acts and all other related prescripts.</strong></p>
<p> ;</p>
<p><strong>Required Minimum Work Experience:</strong><br />
<strong>• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience</strong><br />
<strong>• TQM experience and a valid drivers’ licence is an added advantage</strong><br />
<strong>• SAGE ESS experience will be an added advantage</strong><br />
<strong>• Stakeholder engagement and proven track record in ability to engage at all occupational levels</strong></p>
